This policy explains what inqdaily.com collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. INQ Daily is published by StoresWiki LLC, Lewes, Delaware, United States.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you email us we receive your address and your message. That is all, and we keep it only as long as the exchange needs.
- Comments. If you leave a comment we store the name, address and text you submit, plus your IP and browser string, which is what makes spam filtering possible.
- Server logs. Our server records the page requested, the referring page, your IP, your browser and a timestamp. This is ordinary web-server logging, kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. We measure which articles get read, in aggregate, so we know what to write more of. We do not build advertising profiles of individual readers ourselves.
Advertising
This site carries third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, Google among them, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can turn personalised advertising off in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info. Our Cookie Policy goes through the categories in detail.
Embedded content
Articles may embed video, posts or images from other sites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that site directly: it can set its own cookies and track your interaction with it. We do not control that.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not pass it to anyone except a service provider that needs it to run the site for us, or where the law requires it.
Your choices
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and the site still works without them. To ask what personal data we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected] and we will deal with it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
